Survey module for creating
questionnaires
The optional Survey module helps you to create questionnaires, record answers
and link existing questionnaires with other data records. Employees in support,
sales and marketing can use questionnaire templates to record feedback on
training courses, customer complaints and various other topics in CAS
genesisWorld for analysis at a later date.
- Templates: Users can create questionnaires in no time using
various templates. The content of the questionnaire is organized according
to topic.
- Various different answering options: Users can
choose from answer
selection lists, Yes/No options, number input fields, scales, rankings,
templates or free-text input fields.
- Explanatory text for questions: The editor of the questionnaire
can enter explanatory text and even influence the course of
the interview by creating dependencies: The question that follows is
dependent on the respondent's previous answer.
- Navigator integration: Users can now embed questionnaires in the
navigator, search for them and display them in a separate tab, for example,
in addresses.
Notes connect interface for effortless teamwork
Many companies deploy different tools for different tasks. Interfaces are
therefore necessary to ensure smooth collaboration. Notes connect provides an
interface between CAS genesisWorld and
Lotus Notes® so they can both deployed in a company simultaneously.
- Appointments and tasks of all users are synchronized automatically
and quickly to make them available in both systems. CAS
genesisWorld users can thus schedule appointments with colleagues who work
with Lotus Notes.
- CAS genesisWorld displays Lotus Notes® fields in a separate tab
which provides users with a better view of all key data.
Using the iPhone app while on the go
The mobile solution for the iPhone enables you to
view and edit appointments
and addresses online in CAS genesisWorld. A corresponding dossier gives you a
360° overview of your customer.
- Access rights assigned in CAS genesisWorld also apply
to the iPhone app so you can see your colleagues’ calendars.
- The administrator can define which users are allowed to use
Mobile CRM for the iPhone.
- The dashboard displays current appointments and addresses linked
to these appointments.
- You can also access an appointment or an address to contact other
persons via phone, e-mail or SMS.
- Addresses can be displayed conveniently on a map
so that you can plan your route better.
- Appointments are displayed as individual data records, in week/month
calendars or as lists.
- The iPhone app will be available in the summer of 2010.

Professional e-mail marketing: Inxmail integration with
instant analysis
The Inxmail integration in version 12 will convince you with its
user-friendly operability, high performance and new functions.
- A new tab displays important information so you can keep track,
for example, of the mailings the addressees in a distribution list have already
received.
- The content of the mailing is displayed in a preview so can
always view the information you have sent.
- The program lets you create detailed reports about each mailing
directly in CAS genesisWorld and save them as PDF documents. Reports are created with the latest data from Inxmail. They also
include anonymous information about the numbers of times links ( to further information,
Web sites, etc) have been clicked.
- Recipients who have looked up further information via a link
can be immediately identified with just one click, if desired.
Data protection laws can be easily implemented

The administrator can define
user rights with just a few clicks.
Understanding the value of your customer data is a key factor. Companies
should strive to protect and maintain their data. It is very important to enter
and store customer data in such a way that legal requirements are met and data
is processed correctly. A highlight of the new version: It supports companies to
comply with the legal data protection regulations. New functions of CAS
genesisWorld make it easier for users to implement the European Union data
protection directives.
- Version 12 contains detailed security mechanisms to ensure that
especially customer-related address data is protected as required by law.
- Specific rights and rules for the import/export of data including
special formats such as GTF or vCard can be set up.
- Specifications for the address wizard can be made as well as for
copy and paste, drag and drop, form letters, label/list print and reports.
- In the new CAS genesisWorld version, the Management Console has been
restructured and administrators now have a better overview of the rights
management functions.
Intelligent innovations in CAS genesisWorld
You will be thrilled with how the new features of the Standard and Premium Editions
of CAS genesisWorld will make your work life easier.
- The new “Action” function comprises the “Change selection,” “Change participant” and “Follow-up
action” functions. Defined actions can now be found in the favorites list
and can be executed for selected data records with just one click.
- When you add a new participant to an appointment, CAS genesisWorld
will instantly notify you of any overlaps.
- Chart views now include not only the legend but also percentage and
absolute values.
- For product items in opportunities, you can also enter discounts
(as a percentage or a fixed value) which are included in the total price.
- When merging duplicates, values of an ERP address are given special
consideration in the merging dialog.
- Follow-up actions: CAS genesisWorld automatically selects the
link type that matches best.
- More flexibility when creating form letters: Instead of using the
“Use PO Box address” option, you can select “Prefer PO Box address”. If no
PO Box address exists, the normal address is used.
- In the Standard edition, you can now contact contact persons linked with an opportunity from
within the opportunity.
- Notification rules can now also be defined to
include linked addresses (e.g. external addresses) that will be
automatically informed of any changes.
- Notifications can be personalized using the data in address
fields.
- The “Current user” variable can now be used
in filter settings –
including the dashboards of our CAS Web products.
- Once phone calls have been made and
tasks completed, all reminders are then deactivated.
- Deactivated addresses are crossed out in lists.
ERP views now in Web access
- The ERP views from the Windows client are now also available in Web
access.
- The “ERP” tab is now displayed in addresses
and users can see relevant data such as open entries.
Modules fulfill customer wishes
- Form & Database Designer: With the optional Form
& Database Designer
module the administrator decides whether or not a menu offering the company
dossier, contact person dossier or overall dossier is displayed in companies
and contact persons, whether filter or groupings include links and whether
users can see hints for certain fields which makes some processes. The
object inspector is now clearly structured and administrators have, for
example, different display options for user-sensitive data record types.
- Efficient project management: A list of both projects and
items enables you to instantly analyze project items and enter invoice
recipients into a project. The new fields “Billed internally/externally on/by”,
“Enter costs as turnover value” and “Set turnover to null”
help you to
create a bill of expenses with ease. You can also enter expenses as receipts, daily expenses, travel costs or as a lump sum.
- Helpdesk module speeds up support: For
example, the data record window
for tickets provides a consolidated view of all key data; an FAQ search is
available at the click of a mouse and the "rules and actions" service has been enhanced.
- Report module with Crystal Reports Viewer and XML export
option: Users
can create custom reports of any kind which can then be viewed with
Crystal Reports Viewer. Report data can also be exported as an XML file; and
the data structure can also be adapted using XSL when exporting.
- Sales module with discount function: Product items in
opportunities of the Sales module now contain the “Discount” field which can
be entered as a percentage or a fixed value. Discounts are included in the
calculation of the total sum.
Central administration simplifies processes
- Installation with automatic software distribution: In addition to
the ”.exe” file, MSI packages are available and the installation can be
performed via automatic software distribution. Even the Word add-in is
contained in these packages.
- Dashboards - Up-to-date overviews for all users: Administrators
can create special dashboard elements and share them with other users who
can then embed them into their own dashboards: view reports, missed calls or changed documents.
- Duplicating users with templates: When duplicating a user,
CAS genesisWorld automatically applies settings for rights, navigators, view
formats and actions. The administrator can define user profiles, for example,
for temporary personnel or CEOs that can be used as templates.
- E-mail accounts with custom settings: The administrator defines
whether a user is allowed to change e-mail accounts or create new ones. A
user might not be allowed to make changes, but he or she can still change
passwords, signatures, folders and rules.
- Quickly creating view formats and navigators: It is now easy to
define varying right levels for many users at once. The administrator, for
example, defines whether a user can create, edit or only select list formats.
The same applies to navigators. All saved settings are also visible in Web
access.
