New CAS PIA with Mobile sync and enhanced usability

New CAS PIA version 2.0 with Mobile sync and enhanced usability

With its new CAS PIA version 2.0, CAS Software AG presents a range of new features including mobile sync for data synchronization with mobile devices such as the iPhone. The Web-based contact management solution for small businesses and the self-employed also offers new functionality, aiding day-to-day work and providing enhanced usability.

Mobile sync bidirectionally synchronizes contacts, appointments and to-do lists between CAS PIA and mobile devices. Changes in CAS PIA are imported into the iPhone or other mobile device and conversely, when information is updated or new contacts are added on the mobile device, CAS PIA seamlessly updates all its relevant data. The full functionality of Mobile sync can be trialed for free until March 31, 2010.

At a monthly price of €19.90 net per user, the contact management solution is ideal for businesses with up to 20 PC workstations. There are no contract ties beyond the first month. Interested parties can trial CAS PIA free of charge for 30 days. As CAS PIA is an online-only program, businesses using it incur no cost for installation, service or updates.

Aiding day-to-day working

As well as repeat appointment scheduling, the new version of CAS PIA now also allows users to create recurring tasks in their to-do lists, such as for monthly newsletters or reports. A built-in reminder function ensures that all appointments are kept and deadlines met. The new company file functionality consolidates all correspondence and communications with a particular company – from phone memos to e-mail – in a single file. Grouping and direct search functions allow information within a file to be found even more easily.

Enhanced usability

With CAS PIA 2.0 the answer to any question can be found even more rapidly than before. The much enhanced Online Help always delivers the right solution. Its search functionality also incorporates information from the FAQs database and the use cases.¬ Lots of useful tips and a short guide providing an introduction to the program basics greatly enhance the direct usability of CAS PIA.

Security and data protection

As in the case of its predecessor, the new CAS PIA version 2.0 and its data are hosted by a high-performance data center with multiple security certifications in Germany. This means users can be assured of the highest standards of data security in accordance with German data protection regulations.
