03/08/2009 Growth during the economic downturn: CRM marches on  

CRM auf dem VormarschDespite the economic crisis, many companies are increasingly investing in ways to further improve their sales processes: according to analysts from Gartner, the CRM market for small and medium-sized companies will continue to grow in 2009. CAS Software, the German market leader in CRM for small and medium-sized companies, has also seen  clear signs of this trend in the first half of 2009: turnover has increased by 17.8 percent compared to last year. Twenty new recruits have joined the CAS team this year already.

At the 23rd partner conference, the CAS team motivated its partners with excellent ways to get fit: 93 software service providers accepted the invitation and equipped themselves for a CRM year full of opportunity. Successful best practice examples and numerous tips for sales and marketing provided the energy kick. There were also awards for the most successful CAS partners.

CAS PIA was nominated for an award at the Eclipse Community Awards in Santa Clara, California (USA). The Web-based contact management solution is based on Eclipse RAP technology and other open source components. CAS Software AG also joined the Eclipse Foundation, underlining its commitment to the use of the latest technologies.

04/03/2009 "Award for Excellence" with the Configurator from CAS Software AG

CAS The "Retroconf" project has won the Airbus "Award for Excellence." Retroconf enables Airbus employees to more quickly create custom and tested offers for airplanes that, for example, are to be fitted with state-of-the-art altimeters, radars, or wiring. In order to do so, the sophisticated technical know-how must be stored centrally in a software solution and be able to be automatically processed. The project was implemented using CAS Software AG's product configurator.

25/01/2009 Launch of CAS PIA in Czech Republic and Romania

In January, KOMIX s.r.o. and Sistec-SBsol, both CAS Software AG Certified Partners, simultaneously launched the new SaaS offer CAS PIA in the Czech and Romanian markets. Sistec-SBSol is an IT services provider, member of the RTC Group, the Romanian leader in office equipment, with one of the nationally fastest growing IT division. KOMIX is a Czech system integrator also providing its own IT solutions based on advanced but well-established technologies. The business potential for CRM in Central Europe is high and interest in hosted solutions is growing quickly, particularly for Small and Medium Enterprises. Targeting European leadership in CRM for SME, CAS is developing with CAS PIA a comprehensive internationalization strategy in the SaaS market based on innovative cooperative implementation scenarios. 30/12/2008 Airbus – "Award for Excellence" with the Configurator from CAS Software AG

In December 2008, the "Retroconf" project won the Airbus "Award for Excellence" in the "INNOVATION" category. The aim of the project was to enable Airbus personnel to be able to provide their customers with more accurate offers in a shorter space of time, and to concentrate all Airbus' know-how into one system, which could then be accessed and used by all those who need it. The main software in this project was the product configurator developed by CAS Software AG. It helps to ensure that all planes are fitted, for example, with the latest altimeters, wiring and radars. This is "the kind of initiative that will help move the company forward," said Jérome Javelle, Head of the Design Office at Airbus.

06/11/2008 CAS genesisWorld user wins CRM Best Practice Award

OKI Systems Deutschland GmbH – the business printing solutions and output management specialist – has won first prize in this year's CRM Best Practice Award. The award ceremony took place on November 5th at the CRM expo in Nuremberg, Germany. In order to establish KIM – its new customer relationship management system – in house, OKI carried out an internal advertising campaign to inform its staff about the CRM deployment using brochures, posters, etc. In so doing, OKI has succeeded in impressing its staff with the new system and has involved them emotionally. Through professional project management and appealing packaging, those responsible for CRM at OKI have achieved an extremely high level of user acceptance across the board. OKI is now the sixth CAS genesisWorld user to have won this prestigious prize, awarded once a year by the trade journal acquisa and asfc, the organizers of the CRM expo.

CAS genesisWorld miniCC edition offers collaborative features based on the CRM solution CAS genesisWorld and Ateus Omega or Ateus NetStar PBX systems. 16/01/2007 Germany's CRM market leader in the medium-sized businesses grows strongly

The previous year 2006 turned out more than positive for the CAS Software AG. After the year-end accounts, the result of the sales of CRM-licenses showed an increase of 33 percent. The "Karlsruher" experts for Customer Relationship Management stand for innovation and security in investments which is also shown by the award "Top Innovator".

04/08/2006 Cross-bordered cooperation with Russia

The business development department "Wirtschaftsförderung Karlsruhe" (further information in German) unites German and Russian IT companies in a pilot project unique in Germany. On that occasion, Russian guests met with representatives from Karlsruhe, among these Martin Hubschneider, Chairman of the CAS Software AG Management Board and member of the CyberForum Management Board (further information in German). Among other subjects, a study about Russian and German IT markets "Märkte der IT: Russland und Deutschland", which takes a close look at chances and risks about cross-bordered cooperations, has been presented.

CAS Software AG received the renowned award "Innovator of the year 2006". Therefore CAS Software AG is the first IT business company to achieve the overall win in the German wide comparative study Top 100 which elects annually the most innovative companys in the category for medium sized businesses. On June 23rd Martin Hubschneider, Chairman of the Management Board, also received the award in the category "Innovationsförderndes Top-Management", a category that measures the success of the management in motivating the employees to develop new ideas for the company.
